High Tinker Mekkatorque
General Strat
- The main mechanics of the fight include running out the debuffs and disabling the mechs without getting stepped on. Additionally, the boss will cast Buster Cannon in a direction and fire it. Avoid the projectile like you do on Mythrax.
- Whenever you are affected by Gigavolt Charge, you need to run out of los of the raid since the aoe explosion doesn't hit any players out of los. Be mindful of when the boss is going to cast Wormhole Generator, as it will teleport all players to a single player. This can lead to you wasting time running out for no reason, or causing the entire raid to be teleported out of position to you.
- The little Spark Bots roaming around need to be disabled when you get Shrunk. You can cc these bots with roots and slows (maybe stuns?).
- You need to jump into a bot and wait for the other people to get in theirs. You need to take turns calling each others' codes that pop above the other players Bot. You have 45s to do this so don't stress out and fuck up the code because that causes even more problems for the raid. Click here to skip down to an example of this mechanic
- When the boss casts Wormhole Generator, be mindful of any Shrunk players (except kcrit) and let them run out before you move. If you step on a shrunk player, you will do massive damage to them and stun them.
- The boss will occasionally cast Blast Off which melee need to pre move out for. The boss will then fly somewhere and Crash Down, heavily damaging anyone caught by it.
- While the boss is flying around, he will toss Sheep around that you need to dodge. You also need to dodge the Shrapnel from the sheep exploding.
- Once the boss lands and enters phase 3, his haste will increase by 30% and will spawn an extra Spark Bot per cast of it.
- Taunt swap as the boss gains Electroshock Amplification stacks and be mindful of when the boss is Blasting Off or teleporting you through Wormhole Generator. Depending on the strat we choose, we will either tanking in direct mid or by one of the LOS rock piles.
- If anyone ever messes up their code in the Spark Bots, they will need a ton of attention until the dot falls off, make sure the debuff is on your frames. In the first few pulls, make sure you can see who is Shrunk since there is a 99% chance they will be stepped on when everyone freaks out from the teleport. I'm not sure if the tanks will end up needing externals so you can use them to carry people who get stepped on early on.
- In mythic, dispell polymorphed players and lifegrip falling players. We may need to drop puddles in los of the raid or be spicy about how we manage the early puddles in the fight which may end up popping the raid.
- Step out of melee before the boss Blasts Off so you don't take the initial fire damage hit. Don't step on a particular warrior when they are Shunk. I don't want to hear it.
- Watch out for the boss flying over to you and Crashing Down on you. Be mindful of where people are running out to LOS their Gigavolt Charge if you are near the edge of the encounter area.
- Don't stand near any players that become Enormous. If you are Enormous, try to move as little as possible. Place Gigavolt Charges in the far back as they drop puddles in mythic. Workhole Generator can also throw you up in the air to fall to your death or put a dispellable polymorph on you.
The boss enters phase 2 at 40%.
