Jadefire Masters

General Strat

  1. During the main phase, the abilities to look out for are Magma Trap, Multi-Sided Strike, Pyroblast, and the fixate Tigers. Whenever fixated by a tiger, just kite it through the boss for cleave. Magma Trap soakers will have to use an immunity to clear a wave of magma traps. When the Fire Mage Monk is casting Pyroblast, ranged dps need to nuke down his shield and kick the cast.

  2. Focus Mestrah so we don't have to deal with Multi-Sided Strike in the last phase.


  3. When sent up for Multi-Sided Strike, you have to point your character at each of the charging monks. If you fail, you will take a burst of physical damage. Correctly pointing at the charges will give you a damage and healing buff that stacks. After completing the combo, tanks will have a debuff that increases all physical damage they take by 100%.


  4. At 30, 60, and 100 combined power, the bosses will do a special mechanic.

  5. At 30 combined power, the bosses will spawn Bombs that are surrounded by mist. You have to be in the mist to dps the bombs down as well as heal/dispell anyone in the mist. Magma Traps can spawn during bombs so avoid them and let the soaker run through them all.


  6. At 60 combined power, the bosses will teleport to one side of the platform and the players to the other. You have to run past a ring of peace guantlet and pick up orbs that will be thrown at the wall on the other side, making them attackable.

  7. Use Warlock gates and movement abilities to skip past bad rings.


  8. At 100 combined power, the bosses will turn into a Serpent and Phoenix, gaining special abilities. The Phoenix will be doing a good amount of passive aoe fire damage to the raid so the bosses need to be dead before the healers oom.

  9. Don't be in front of the Serpent when it turns and casts its frontal cone, Dragon's Breath. This may need to be baited by the raid into the wall to minimize the amount of fire on the ground.

  10. If the Serpent doesn't die early, everyone needs to be ready to deal with Multi-Sided Strike.

  11. Tanks

  12. There may be a couple tank swaps in the fight. One is the Fireball debuff that explodes with Burnout for aoe damage based on the number of stacks you have (4ish should be ok). The second is after being teleported up to Multi-Sided Strike as you will come down with a +100% physical damage taken debuff but this might be negligible.

  13. In the last phase you will have a similar tank swap but the Serpent must be always be in a good position to bait the Serpent's Dragon's Breath that leaves fire on the ground.

  14. When Mestrah (the green one) jumpes away and casts Whirling Jade Storm, just chase her and melee her to stop the channel.

  15. During the 30 Power Bombs, you might be able to tank near/in the mist for uptime but idk.

  16. Healers

  17. You must dispell Searing Embers as fast as possible. If it is not dispelled, it will explode on the raid.

  18. If a Pyroblast is going to go off on heroic, you can use an external to try to save the person that the boss is targetting. In mythic, it instakills.

  19. Grouped heal cds might be best when the raid is inside the 30 power Bomb mist just incase someone gets tagged by something they shouldn't or if a healer cannot target a certain person.

  20. Throughput heal cds should be used during Mult-Sided-Strike to prevent people from dying to their own dumb.

  21. During the 100 power end phase, the raid will be taking constant aoe damage.

  22. Dps

  23. If the tank isn't able to run to Mestrah's Whirling Jade Storm to break it, all you need to do is run over to her and melee her real quick.

  24. During Living Bombs at 30 power, we need either everyone to go to the same bomb and nuke it while watching for magma traps.

  25. During the Guantlet at 60 power, we need mobile dps to move ahead (not so far as to range healers) and grab the Orbs to make the wall at the end of the guantlet vulnerable to damage. When we get to the end, you need to nuke the wall pieces that are attackable.

  29. Whenever Manceroy starts casting Pyroblast, you need to be ready to swap to him to dps his Fire Shield down and kick his cast.

  30. Kite tiger away from the raid.

  31. Mythic

  32. Copy Pasta from Abilities

  1. Pyroblast - Instantly kills the target.
  2. Multi-Sided Strike - 5 Strikes occur and the whole raid goes up every time.
  3. A Flash of Hostility - No walls are attackable until an orb is thrown at it. A spirit of Niuzao chases players through the maze.
    1. Spirit of Niuzao - Chases players and leaves behind images that pulse for heavy physical damage to anyone near.

Abilities

Base Abilities
    Mestrah, the Illuminated - Melee monk, green boi

  1. Harmonious Spirits - As Manceroy's hp gets lower than Mestrah's hp, Mestrah gets stronger.
  2. Whirling Jade Storm - Boss jumps away and spinning crane kicks to aoe the raid. Boss needs to be meleed to cancel the channel.
  3. Multi-Sided Strike - Get teleported into the air and assaulted by charging monks 1 at a time. Your have to face the charging monk to prevent taking moderate physical damage. Gives Tested debuff
    1. Tested - Take 100% increased physical damage for 40s.
  4. Spirits of Xuen - Tigers fixate on a player and chase them around casting Tiger paw and Pounce
    1. Tiger Claw - Melee physical attack.
    2. Pounce - Pounces at the fixated player, damaging anyone within 5 yards.
    Manceroy Flamefist - Fire Mage Monk

  1. Fireball - Deals fire damage and applies Rising Flames dot.
    1. Rising Flames - Fire damage dot that causes Burnout when it expires.
      1. Burnout - Explodes for fire damage to the raid when Rising Flames expires.
  2. Pyroblast - Interruptible - Massive fire damage nuke that must be interrupted. The Fire Shield must be broken before the boss is kickable.
    1. Fire Shield - Absorbs a certain amount of damage and prevents the boss from being interrupted.
  3. Searing Embers - Dispellable - Fire damage dot that explodes if it is not dispelled within 10s.
  4. Magma Trap - Creates a fire zone that lasts until someone runs into it. Once they do, they knock anyone within 6 yards up in the air and gives you a debuff that increases magma trap damage taken by 100%. Need a slowfall, Disengage, or grip to survive the fall. (Avalanche pots?)
    Summon Living Bombs - 30 combined boss power

  1. Summon Living Bombs - Bombs spawn that are hidden in mist. You have to stand in the mist in order to dps the bombs and heal/dispel people in the mist. The bombs have a rotating beam that deals massive damage to anyone caught by it.
    A Flash of Hostility - 60 combined boss power

  1. A Flash of Hostility - All players are thrown to one side of the room while the bosses go to the other side and hide behind a destructable wall. The bosses place rings of peace in between them and that raid that bump any players trying to cross them. The fireboss pelts the raid with phoenixes that deal damage to anyone within 6 yards.
    1. Force Orb - Orbs that can be picked up to cause another part of the wall at the end of the guantlet to be attackable.
    The Serpent and the Phoenix - 100 combined boss power

  1. The Serpent and the Phoenix - The bosses turn into a Serpent and a Phoenix for the rest of the fight.
    1. Serpent
      1. Dragon's Breath - Frontal cone that leaves fire on the ground.
      2. Multi-Sided Strike - Same as P1 but the nearly the entire raid gets teleported up.
    2. Phoenix
      1. Blazing Phoenix - Passive aoe fire damage.
      2. Searing Peck - Same as P1 Fireball that applies Rising Flames and Burnout.
Mythic
  1. Pyroblast - Instantly kills the target.
  2. Multi-Sided Strike - 5 Strikes occur and the whole raid goes up every time.
